Last week and weekend
hmmm…
Last week was cool. Although I did have bad cramps on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I went to see Iced Earth last Wednesday night. They were great. I like their newer stuff alot better than their old stuff.
At some point, I think two Thursday’s ago, I bought Twilight. (Not sure if I mentioned that.) Well… I didn’t get a chance to start reading it until Thursday that just passed. Well.. it was so freaking great that I finished it in 5 days. I understand what all the hype is about. I bought the sequel this morning. The movie is coming out in December. I really hope the actor that plays Edward does it justice. It’s going to be weird cause I’m like ten years older than what the actor’s are portraying. Oh god! I just looked it up.. he’s only 21. I’ll feel all gross checking him out. So yea… I’m totally obsessed with the story. I can’t wait to start the 2nd one tonight. It’s funny, I keep forgetting the title of the book and have to keep looking at it. It’s call “New Moon.” I keep wanting to write Moonlight. lol! Oh…. today after my scary appointment I went to Barnes and Noble to go get it. I passed by the Godiva chocolate section and I saw an advertisment for Twilight on the cover of the chocolate! omg… it’s so cool. It’s basically the cover of the book and then it says… “Can you resist temptation?” omg!! I hung it up in my cubicle. People think I’m insane anyway so what’s one more thing. Tonight I’m going to print out an awesome bookmark for my new book. I’m not sure if I’ll put the hands and apple symbol or the bloody flower from “New Moon.” But, I know it will be awesome if I can pull it off.
okay, enough about Twilight and New Moon. Last Saturday, Jen and I saw The Dutchess. It was really good. Keira and Ralph were excellent in their roles. The movie was so sad though. I almost started crying. The only thing that they could have cut was the intimate scene with Bess and Georgana. I understand why it was included but… come on… omg.. when Charles came screaming for her in the house it broke my heart. I don’t know if I’ll own it when it comes out but I’m thinking about it. It was so funny that they just kept showing the three of them at the table like it was a normal thing!
Mark and I went to my cousin’s 40th birthday party. It was fun. I just wish I could have stayed longer. I really miss my family. I never see them. Like seriously, I haven’t seen them since last Christmas eve with the exception of Uncle Vince, Amy, and Lidia.
Last night I went with Barb and company to the World Cafe Live. It was so neat in there. I would like to go back if I can find an artist that Mark would tolorate. We saw Devon Sproule and Rachel Unthank. They were both really good. My salad was over priced but the white zinfandel was excellent.
This morning I had my dermatologist appt. It went ok. I did get my big mole removed on my shoulder and am very curious about how it looks under the bandaid right now. She also diagnosed that goofy bump I have on my back as a cyst. So, come November I’ll have surgery to get it removed. I’d rather have a scar than that gross bump. I will make another appointment when I don’t have to go back to work to get the little bump on my head removed. I really don’t want to go to work with a bandaid on my head. I’ll look more of a freak than usual.
Today was ok. It was pretty busy until around 3. I had butternut squash and apple soup with cheddar cheese and crackers on the side. It was ok. I’m not sure I’ll get it again though.
Well,. I’m going to go pick up my print out and get ready to leave.
