This past week…
It’s been awhile since I last wrote. This week was all crazy. I left work sick on Wednesday, found out I had a stomach virus, and stayed home yesterday and today. Today I had the day off anyway and I was feeling better so Mark and I went to see the Pirates exhibit. It was really good. I somehow got VIP tickets from a Starbucks contest so we got to get the additional audio. The exhibit was huge!. It took us over an hour to see everything. The little movie in the beginning was great too. It really led into what we were about to see.
We stopped at the gift shop at the end of the exhibit. It wasn’t bad. I got a coffee mug and Mark got a mouse pad and a flag. (he’s really insane if he thinks he’s putting it somewhere in the living room.)
We went to lunch at Fridays. That was crazy because Mark ordered his mini burgers with no onions and of course they brought them out with onions. Then… we had to wait at least 20 minutes for the correct order. I felt bad eating without him but I was kinda hungry and my California Club with sweet potato fries were really good.
Next we took a cab to the Ritz and saw Burn after Reading. I had already scene a pre screening of it and really liked it. Mark liked it too but not as much as me.
We did have plans to go see uh.. that movie with DiNiro and Pacino but it was raining and we just decided to come home.
Oh.. earlier this week one of my neighbors whom I don’t really see that much offered us side tables and a coffee table that they don’t want anymore so we got the side tables which are awesome already. I just have to stop at my other neighbor’s house for the coffee table. I also have to make a batch of my awesome blueberry muffins as a thank you to them.
Now, we’re just hanging around. Not going anywhere tonight. Hopefully we’ll go to Kmart tomorrow for a new blanket and CD/iPod/radio combo for the bedroom. I also need cute coasters for the new side tables. I want to keep them nice.
omg.. there’s going to be a ton of shit to do on Monday when I get back to work. Hopefully no one screwed up my accounts.
Oh last Saturday my friend Jen came over to play Rock Band. It was fun.
